How we see a your role:

The development and deployment of software includes a lot of tools, clouds and workflows. It has become increasingly difficult for developers to build secure, performant and reliable software.

As a DevOps Engineer / Backend Developer at Engel Austria you will help developers across different teams to manage the complexity.

What will you do as a DevOps Engineer / Backend Developer?

You will develop and maintain the internal development portal./p>

You work with stakeholders from our development departments to understand what tools and workflows they need:

• expert on our DevOps Tool Chain
• support and guide our DevOps Team and software engineers
• design and implementation of platform solutions
• architectural support and guidance for solution opportunities that involve virtualization, cloud infrastructure, management and security
• setup and improve our cloud infrastructure
• help our DevTeams to use the cloud infrastructure
• optimize cloud resources and deployments
• create software to relieve deployments

TechStack:

• azure Cloud / DevOps
• VMWare
• kubernetes / Docker
• terraform / Ansible

Requirements:

• have a good understanding of software development and DevOps practices
• professional experience with Linux and container infrastructure
• you know the latest IaC tools and techniques. Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible or Flux are a plus
• teamplayer
